Weekly Inspiration Pictures

This week's inpiration pics are of the jewelry from outfit detail pictures that I found in other blogs throughout the week. For some reason I have been really into jewelry lately.

Also, I have a nail polish giveaway going on until february 7th, so check it out right here.

The light, the colors, the gold jewelry, this picture is just so pretty

A Birthday Party

This past week was my niece's 7th birthday. Here are a few pictures I took at the party and my outfit. I opted to wear something very casual and comfortable so I could run around with the kids.

Weekly Inspiration Pictures

One of my new years resolutions is to post more constantly on my blog and this is a resolution I really want to keep and accomplish. In order to help me reach my goal I decided to have a couple of weekly posts. This way it will be easier for me because I will have a bit more structure and will save me time because I won't have to figure out a topic to post about since I will already know what to post.

The weekly inspiration pictures will be a post where I choose 5 pictures that I have seen and fell in love with that week in other blogs, tumblrs, instagram, around the web or that I have taken. They will either have a theme or be random. This week's pictures are of outfit details from five popular blogs I follow and read frequently. Hope you enjoy!

Blog Revamped

In the spirit of the new year I decided to give my blog a little make over. And by little I mean I changed the name and url as well. This blog used to be called fashion, beauty and more which it's still what the blog is about but I decided to give it a more personal and unique name and then a url to match it.

Here's a picture of my old banner for those of you who never saw it and are curious.

Hope you like the new name and style of the blog. I will try to post more constantly this year. Thank you for stopping by and please feel free to comment, share, and follow the blog.

Review: Hana air professional hair dryer

A few weeks ago I was contacted by Missiko to see if I wanted to receive one of their Hana hair dryers to try out and see how liked it. The first thing I did was go on their website just to get an idea about the company and to look at all the products they carry. I was very impressed by the selection of products so I decided to accept. A few days later, I received my box, it was a huge 10 pound box and I knew it was a professional hair dryer but I didn’t expect it to be that big and heavy. When I opened the box indeed there were other things in addition to the dryer. Here’s a quick list of all the goodies I received:-          A protective tin and sleeve that I will use with my current straightner
-          A full size Paul Mitchell Super Strong Daily Shampoo and Conditioner
-          A mini of their Hana shine shield thermal protectant
-          A set of Bobby Brown brushes (so happy to try this!)
-          An e.l.f mechanical eyelash curler
-          A teddy bear and 2 white roses :)

On to the hair dryer. I received the HANAair professional hair dryer which is their best selling top -rated hair dryer. I have been using it since I got it and I have to say I love it. I have naturally straight hair that tends to frizz a little due to the weather so my hair routine consists of washing my hair every other day and blow drying it with a heat protectant and an anti-frizz serum.  When I first started using the hair dryer it it took a couple of days to get used to the fact that its heavier than previous hair dryers I had used because it is a professional hair dryer but now I like the fact that its sturdy and not flimsy at all. The hair dryer has 3 temperature and 2 speed settings which give you options as to how you need it to work every time. I have become so used to my HANAair hair dryer I don’t think I can go back to another hair dryer. The also have some other professional hair dryers to suit everyone’s needs.

If you prefer to  straighten your hair then check out the best flat iron and the Chi straightner. They also have amazing curling irons available at the Missiko website. They offer free shipping on orders over $75 and have great offers all the time.
Hope you liked this review and stay tuned for a major redesign of the blog coming soon…

Obsessing Over: Wildfox Couture

Wildfox Crazy

This is not a new trend and in fact if you google the brand you can see that celebrities have been wearing their stuff for quite some time but I have just become obsessed with it a few months ago and while I only own one of their jumpers, I plan on expanding my collection and I think my next purchase will be the tee with the camera since I am also now into lomography and lo-fi photography (will do a post about that soon!) Here's a pic of the cute grey zebra jumper I have.
